Letter of Recommendation 

When a student applies for college or for a scholarship, he or she often needs a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, counselor, or occasionally an employer. College admission offices and Scholarship Committees are looking for particular things in a student’s letter of recommendation. Please use the following "Student Resume for Letter of Recommendation" to provide more information for your recommender.

Please print & fill out the Student Resume for Letter of Recommendation from and return it to your counselor either by dropping it off in person, or emailing a copy to them. Counselor emails can be found on the school website.

Remember:  

GIVE THIS COMPLETED FORM TO THE PERSON(S) WHOM YOU ARE REQUESTING THE RECOMMENDATION FROM AT LEAST ONE TO TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE.  

Understand that teacher / counselor recommendations are confidential documents and you hereby waive access to them.

It is your obligation to be honest with your counselor and with the colleges and scholarship committees to which you are applying.
