Carlos, Robert - Automotive technologies

Welcome to Victor Valley High Schools' Automotive Technologies program. Our mission here at Victor Valley is to enhance our students' training in the fundamentals of Automotive and Collision Repair Technology. Our programs balance formal classroom education with extensive practical shop experience. Through project based learning hands on highly engaging activities, students enrolled in Automotive Technology I, Automotive Technology II, and Collision Repair, will begin building a foundational understanding of transportation practices and basic skills.

Both classroom and hands-on lab experiences are designed to cover service writing, maintenance, electrical systems, lubrication expectations, cooling, and fuel systems. Students will also review and demonstrate learning on the following automotive systems: brakes, steering, suspension, front end alignment, power train, air conditioning, body damage analysis, body repair, and paint refinishing. These are beginning classes designed to assist students in the college and career readiness skills in the transportation industry sector.
