Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Victor Valley High School, home of the Jackrabbits. Victor Valley has a long tradition of excellence. We continue to place at the top of the State list, showing higher than 90% of similar schools throughout the state of California. We’ve received our most recent test scores and early indications show continued growth and the best results we’ve ever had. Our teachers are committed to providing a high caliber education to all of our students. The staff at Victor Valley High School is highly qualified with an effective mix of long-standing and younger members. There is a very collegial and supportive tone in the school. Our Mission at Victor Valley:

Teach them well, Keep them safe, Prepare them for the future

All stakeholders strive to focus on our mission every day. The programs we provide are designed to keep students, staff and community extremely involved in after-school programs, extracurricular activities, tutoring and remediation. These type of programs and activities encourage and allow our students to achieve their “personal best” while becoming mature, positive and contributing members of our society.

Best regards,

Chris Douglass,
Principal

2014 School Acountability Report Cards for VVUHSD
What is a School Accountability Report Card (SARC)?
Since November 1988, state law has required all public schools receiving state funding to prepare and distribute a SARC. A similar requirement is also contained in the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act. The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school. A SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate and compare schools on a variety of indicators.
